We are always thrilled to cover all things Knott’s Berry Farm. It’s amazing how they transform the famed amusement park into so many various themes. Knott’s Merry Farm is by far, the closest to being in a fairytale! Holiday decor, food and drinks, lights and the good townspeople of Ghost Town are all in festive gear to celebrate Christmas. On our visit celebrating America’s biggest holiday, we highlighted Christmas Crafts Village. It’s a unique place to find gifts and crafts for family and friends.
We spent a good amount of time in Knott’s Christmas Crafts Village. The Ghost Town, as you know it, transforms into a shopping wonderland filled with dozens of local artisans selling their unique gifts. Must see highlights of the Village include artist demonstrations of chainsaw wood carving and elegant glass blowing. We’ve got a chainsaw action shot below.
Entrance to the Knott’s Christmas Crafts Village is free from November 27 – 30 and December 4 – 7. Admission to the park is required all other activities.
One of the first stops as we entered Christmas Crafts Village was at Collective Scents. There were so many beautifully colored and perfectly scented candles on display. They even took the experience a step further by allowing you make your own candle. All candles are made from soy which are cleaner burning with no toxins, carcinogens or pollutants which means it’s less likely to trigger allergies. Their soy candles are longer lasting and burn cooler which means that you can enjoy your soy wax candle for atleast 30-50% longer than a paraffin candle.
Knott’s Berry Farm also host their very own Christmas kiosk. My guys found gifts that are perfect for the practical jokesters that they are. Funny T Shirts and faux snow were their favorite picks.
Big Bear Carving Company is a husband and wife run business. The professional Chain Saw Sculptor gave live demonstrations showing how they make pieces of wood come to life. Jamie has been a chainsaw sculptor for 30 years. He shared that about six years ago, his wife Lisa, picked up a chainsaw and never put it down. It was cool seeing her in action!
Lisa Doren of Big Bear Carving Company giving a live demonstration. Yes, that’s Groot next to her!!
I spy four little bears.!
Oh the food! Team Knott’s always provide the yummiest treats. The taste card is such a deal. You get to try so many items that I normally wouldn’t have selected. We are a family of four and there was something for everyone. The cheesecake on a stick was delicious and so was the flavored popcorn. Try them all!
This part of Christmas Craft Village for me. Ms. Doolittle has a very large space and had no problem filling the space with vibrant colored gifts. Pink and purple tutus lured me in to her fantasy like wonderland. Miss Doolittle was on location and told me that she and her team hand make every single item being sold. I loved the reindeer headband!
The petting zoo is always a stop for us! Ms. Patty poses for pics!
